Welcome to Mr. Sollars' Web Site!

Welcome to my website. Hi guys, I am pretty much 100% again. I have lost some distance in my golf game but I can at least play again. I am planning on returning to teaching in the fall. I am currently looking for a place to teach and hope to again be gainfully employed by August. I have certainly missed being in the classroom. I especially miss the interaction with my students and I even miss the interesting discussion we had in class. I hope that all of you are doing well and that you have passed all of your classes. Feel free to let me know how you are doing whenever you get a chance. My screen name is "geometrysoll." If I am online you may contact me regardless of the time. If it gets too late or I am too busy I will simply log off instant messaging. Feel free to use the information on the site to contact me. The link to my email is my email address at home. And if you have an interest, go look at the pictures from my various golfing trips. Good luck and I will see you later alligators.

P.S.: Enjoy the music, I do. I will leave the assignments boxes below so that I can use them in the future.

I went to Scotland to play The Old Course at St. Andrews this summer(2005). If you are a real golfer, you have to go to Scotland and play The Old Course sometime in your lifetime. If you would like to view some of my Scotland pictures, here they are: My Scotland Pictures.

I went to Spain during the Christmas 2005 break. If you would like to view my Spain pictures (no golf, it was Christmas and cold; 30 degrees all the time), here they are: My Spain Pictures.

I went to Myrtle Beach South Carolina last summer. If you would like to see my Myrtle Beach pictures, here they are: My Myrtle Beach Pictures.

I went back to Palm Springs this summer (June 2008). The weather was positively "balmy" for Palm Springs. Temperatures were only around 100 degrees which is cool for Palm Springs. Temperatures always seemed to be about 120 degrees when I previously went to play golf. The temperatures started to drop about 5:00 PM and by the time the sun was behind the mountains, it was very nice. Low temperatures and virtually no humidity. It was absolutely beautiful in the evenings. I took very few pictures this year so no special pictures to show. Later alligators.
